Facebook, Google, others circumvent Safari privacy restrictions

It is not surprising to me that Google, Facebook and others have been tracking users even when they’ve configured the Do Not Track feature of their browsers. I’ve long considered sites such as Facebook and Google to be malware sites. The best course of action when dealing with these sites is to use them in a separate browser, and to disable cookies in the browser that you use for everything else. Malware has moved into the cloud. From the article: “In case the point hasn’t been driven home yet -companies need to be monitored at all times. This was clearly intentional, and circumvents restrictions Apple has put in place to protect the privacy of its users. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Google and Facebook circumventing privacy restrictions, or Microsoft and Apple taking away ownership of our computers - this stuff needs to be questioned, challenged, and monitored at all times. If we don’t, we could end up in a world of hurt.” http://www.osnews.com/story/25622/Facebook_Google_others_circumvent_Safari_privacy_restrictions
