DEVELOPER, GENTOO LINUX

  • Quality assurance testing of various applications shipped with the distribution, including participation in testing/debugging components of packages designated as the ‘base system’.
  • Maintainership of all Mozilla-based applications within the distribution, including Mozilla Application Suite, Firefox, Thunderbird, Nvu, Gecko-SDK and others.
  • Coordinate Mozilla application releases with other developers whose packages list Mozilla applications as dependencies, including those of the GNOME project
  • Act as a liaison between the Mozilla Organisation and the Gentoo Linux project, coordinating releases and sending bugfixes upstream when appropriate
